The Introverts

About

The Introverts is a fictitious band created for the purpose of this website.   The band formed in 2002 after a quiet conversation between Lydian and Dorian.  They both were introverts but had a passion for music.  They wanted to perform, but had too much performance anxiety to be on stage as a duo.  They searched for a few more introverted musicians who were also interested in performing.  Through a little music rehearsal and a lot of encouragement, The Introverts had their first performance in 2010 in the basement of a friend’s house.  The crowd went wild - loudly clapping and cheering for more, The Introverts were hooked and never looked back.  They’ve upgraded their comfort level from basements to living rooms (and front porches) - with lots of quiet time between performances to re-energize.

The photographer tried their best to capture The Introverts, but to their true identity, they were camera shy. Enjoy the photos that we were able to capture!

Harmony

Harmony is a keyboard rockstar, who can play any genre of music.  With multiple music degrees, and over 20 years of experience, Harmony brings the knowledge and the know-how to the business side of the band.  When not performing music, Harmony enjoys reading in quiet spaces.

Lydian

Lydian is a guitar virtuoso, who can shred any guitar line like no other.  As a recent music graduate, Lydian is excited to be starting a music career by joining the band.  When not jamming, Lydian enjoys meditating on the beach at sunset.  Lydian is a founding member of the band.

Dorian is a bass whiz, who can transform any bass line for all the songs into the right groove.  With more than 25 years of experience in gigging locally, Dorian brings the music leadership to the band.    When not performing music, Dorian enjoys a good nap.  Dorian is a founding member of the band.

Cadence

Cadence is a percussionist extraordinaire, who brings the added depth to the ensemble. As a veteran in the music field, Cadence brings a wide variety of rhythms to the band. When not performing music, Cadence enjoys walking on the trails in the local park.

Canto

Canto has an exceptional four octave range, and can dazzle the audience with any of the silky smooth melodies that are sung. As someone who is talented in music and poetry, Canto is also a prolific songwriter and has written many songs for the band. When not performing music, Canto enjoys a quiet morning with a freshly brewed cup of tea and watching the sun rise.
